1) The bathroom exhaust was not working; this steamed up the entire room when showering. 2) The tower dryer was not working. 3) Personnel Problem: My original reservation was from 12/02 through 12/04. And, we had initially planned on checking out on 12/04 and then catch our overnight train leaving at 11:40 PM (on 12/04) from Edinburgh to London. However, my wife and daughter got sick on 12/03, so I informed the front desk (Tasha) on 12/03 that I would like to extend my stay by 1 more day. I was asked to make a reservation the next day, 12/04; and the front desk mentioned that since I would not stay overnight on 12/04, that they could offer me a good discount. However, on 12/04 when I went to front desk to extend my reservation by 1 day I was informed (by the front desk manager Alina) that the hotel was fully booked and no rooms were available. I told them that I would take any room because my sick wife and daughter just wanted to rest. I was again told that absolutely no rooms were available. However online, I did see rooms available and was able to make a reservation (checking in 12/04 and out on 12/05). When I informed the front desk that I just made a reservation, they just said they do not know how the hotel online system works. I really felt that they were lying and did not care about the situation. I have not seen this bad of an example of customer service in the US.

Location is fantastic. The rooms are huge with great amenities. Great bed as well. The hotel is very clean and a great vibe. The breakfast is incredible.
