Tigerair Taiwan is a low-cost carrier based at Taoyuan International Airport with a fleet of 10 aircraft. It is a result of a joint venture between Budget Aviation Holdings and China Airlines Group. Most of the flights operate to destinations in Japan from Taiwan but the airline also flies to destinations in Thailand, South Korea and Mainland China.

Class of travel
Tigerair Taiwan is a low-cost carrier which offers only economy class with 3 fare configurations.
Tigerlight: This basic fare option allows passengers to carry one hand baggage only inclusive in the base fare. At an additional cost, the guests can choose their seat preference, include one check-in luggage, meal and reschedule the flight.
Tigersmart: is the budget fare option that allows its passengers one hand luggage, selection of tiger buddy seats, and one check-in luggage. At an additional cost, the guests can include a meal and rescheduling of the tickets.
Tigerpro: This fare option allows the passengers to carry one hand baggage, one check-in luggage and give access to the selection of any seat on the flight, rescheduling of tickets along with an economical meal, all inclusive of the fare.

Baggage Allowance
Passengers are allowed to carry on hand luggage which can weigh up to 8kgs and one check-in baggage which weighs up to 30 kgs in the Tigersmart and Tigerpro fare option. Frequent Flyer Programme
Tigerclub is the frequent flyer programme of Tigerair Taiwan. Members can earn points travelling across all Tigerair Taiwan. Members can enjoy and earn miles while planning holidays, movies, hotels and car rentals through the 100 plus partners. These points can be used for redemption and discount on booking tickets.

In-flight services
Spirit Airlines offers a wide range of snacks, hot&cold and non-alcoholic beverages which can be purchased on board. The passengers can also access the regular airline publication called the Tigertale which explores travel destinations in and around Taiwan.

Check-in
Tigerair Taiwan does not provide online check-in facilities.
Airport check-in is at least 2.5 hrs before the flight's departure.

Onboard Support
Tigerair Taiwan provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through Tigerair Taiwan sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
