Hungry in the middle of the night. I ordered room service food and was told it would be prepared in about 30 minutes. They even asked whether I would pay by card or QRIS. Before hanging up, they said, “Please wait for the food, sir.” After 30 minutes passed and nothing arrived, I called the receptionist to check. She said she would check again and call me back with an update. About 5 minutes later, the phone rang—but it was the room service department. They informed me that my order had just been about to be processed, and then asked whether I wanted to continue or cancel the order. At that point, I had already waited more than 40 minutes and was extremely hungry. Why wasn’t I informed earlier if there was a problem? I had already been waiting for over 40 minutes, and only then was I told that my food hadn’t even been processed yet. I immediately hung up the phone because I was already emotional and didn’t want to deal with such a response anymore. If I had known, I would have just ordered GoFood from the beginning. This was extremely disappointing and triggered my gastric pain. Indra (Instagram: EATSINGTRAVEL) Room 1905 28 December 2025, 12:20 AM
